I have not seen working x64 viruses, so I never used any particular anti-virus software.

You are welcome. In fact, I had read the Chinese version of this article earlier on www.kaspersky.com.cn, so I thought there must be English and Russian versions too. And I am right. :)

I would like to test Vista Ultimate out one day, but really can't see Window's Defender as my defense. It doesn't do a good enough job presently.

I hope it's in the Add/Remove "Windows Components" list.

Note: Wondering if x64-bit will always remain low on the research and development though. Isn't a lack of drivers already been a concern anyway. All they are doing is reinforcing it.

Vista is a hype, it's just XP sp3 with a new theme....
But to be honest I do like the product... :D

Not XP SP3. It has Windows 2003 as a starting point.

not really, it's possible that we can skip vista. ms said that xp support is available until 2008-2009, which is about the same time as vienna's launch.

LOL it kind of funny. The clock for Windows Vista Ultimate already started ticking..5 years for mainstream support. Who knows what future brings.
