I am responsible for the protection of my dad’s company
I am forcing my dad to install KAV on the 2 laptops(that connect next to never to the internet)
and KIS on his personal use and company use PC and personal laptop
and one PC in the shop (net really the shop, but let we call it like that)
now that forcing is going well I have another problem.. how do I manage all these machines?
for checking updates of java and all that sort of programs I may use secunia network inspector
but how can I manage all the machines? now it is taking to much time
and how do I make sure that the users of some machines (a seller gets a laptop so that needs to be checked)
dont install software.. when I saw that a seller installed norton and nod32 I blowed my mind..
that should not happen
so what should be protected and how?
personal company use PC KIS
personal use PC KIS
my PC KIS (this PC should get the rights to manage the other PC's)
laptop 1 KAV (next to never connection with the internet)
laptop 2 KAV same as above
shop PC KIS
and the new PC of the co-owner would be secured with KIS
how the I manage all these is the question
make my dad pay again for security would not be prefered
anyone with a solution?
(and I know security is an high priority, but my dad.. he dont)
remote control would be an option if I would be able to see when a PC is on or not
if there is an option for that a great part of my problem would be solved
