I use only VLC and Media Player Classic/HomeCinema.

(And in LM6, I use Rythembox for music and Totem for videos/movies.)

What media player are you using?

I've tried several 3rd-party players to try and fill the gap due to the limitations of Windows Media Player (Vista v. 11). GOM Player was my favorite until the other other day. I say WAS because I came across this: Vista Codec Pack. Now, I can play everything I've tried in Windows Media Player including such file types as .flv and .mov. It will also play Real Media files and a host of others. It is applicable to both XP and Vista.

Check it out! :D

/me uses Winamp v2.95. It does what it is supposed to do and as far as I remember had some feature(s) which are not included in newer versions.

I've got 5.24 (June 2006) and thought that was old.
I just want something which is light and plays music, don't want other fancy features, which is why I dislike upgrading programs much, always adding more things I dont want and getting heavier.

If it worked all those years back, it will still work now :drinks_cheers:

Maybe this will sound foolish :drinks_cheers: but i am using Itunes 9.0.1
which in fact cannot be considered a real music player.
I like the album illustration option ....
