Did you hear that Microsoft said if you leave your PC on from now till when windows 8 comes out, and you set your home page microsoft.com, then you will get free copy of Windows 8! So I suggest you change your home page from kaspersky.com to microsoft.com !

Oh, man I totally forgot. You have to take screenshot of your system uptime. [ Here is the TechSpot tip:
How long’s it been since you last rebooted Windows?] and enclose in your letter to Bill Gates.

I've disabled some of M$ "spyware" services that take info from our computers and send it to M$ servers: from our harddisks, USB´s, buses and info in general from our system, etc... those "services"/tasks in background come with every W7/Vista ... You can find them in Scheduled Tasks ... They are a bit hidden but They are there :D

I say this because so many hours/days with our systems on ... and sending so much INFO to M$ :D haha!.

I will create in spanish a new topic, 1st ... and maybe in english too :P explaining how to disable them :)

Regards.

Geeks to Go: If I install Windows 7 32bit twice would that make it 64bit?
:

I have a question,

I recently took delivery of my new Dell, which came with the 32bit version of Windows 7, however the PC is capable of running at 64bit.

If I install Windows 7 32bit twice would that make it 64bit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder, why stop at two? Install it four times? You’d be the first to have 128-bit Windows!

A great quote from the same topic:And I thought that Henny Youngman was dead.
