I didn't have much removal problems at all. I don't really like it because it made the Windows' copy/move progress window in my PC worse than normal. Also the control panel icon became too big, and the close/minimize/maximize buttons are too near.
Maybe it's not really compatible with my PC ;) . And it seems to be very compatible with sjoeii's PC. He's so lucky ;) ;) .

Well not sure if I'm so lucky but it works over here. No problems at all.

I use the "Recall 6.5 ultimate" theme along with a patched uxtheme.dll. It doesn't use any resources (more than default themes, at least) as opposed to windowblinds or stylexp. Also I use an icon pack, and made my own logon screen and boot screen.

How did you install it? I download-it from the link you gave (on devianart) but didn't knwo what to do with the *.msstyle file.

you need a patched uxtheme.dll file (there are a lot of those around) which you have to replace in safe mode.
then copy the contents of the zip to c:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\ and you can choose the skin in display properties->appearance.

I can't replace this file in safe-mode...
It says that this file is using by other applications.
