Don't be modest Lucian! :)
You can do 100 posts per day! I've seen it.

Nevertheless, I think it is not a good idea to get the most number posts on the forum, because the quality suffers B)

I do not like those rankings very much, in our forum at Rokop it makes some guys become spammers.

But i have learned that a community can not live without those rankings.

How would you call a situation when one person replies to all topics on the forum non stop and others who also would want to participate have just to watch him do all the fun?

Ah but that is rather unfortunate. However, I still do keep up with what is going. And participate when I can to add some valuable inputs to the threads. But Lucian is definately right on the money, University is like a full time job.

I have an ideea. Whizard might know the site. It's Canadian anyway, it's called ginogina.ca (now called untz.ca). At that site users have no rankings just to avoid spamming and posting nothing conclusive. This is the reason I am thinking of removing the rankings and posts count. Even if you don't think it's a good idea at this moment, it's actually quite good. This way the only good part would be the Reputation system that would actually mean something. Since the post count doesn't matter for a lot of users, while the quality of the post does, I would suggest that all the way!
Regards,
Michael

Hi FadetoBlack,

Nice idea, I am wondering if we could do the same on the official KL Forum... May be I should start a pole for this... like:

What is better:

- to show number of posts
- to have reputation instead

huh?

Kind regards,
Igor Kurzin
